Ok, so you know about meditating.
You’ve heard the word, and you did attempt the action.
But somehow, you just never stuck to it. It’s just too boring. No time!
‘I can’t stop my thoughts from thinking’.

What if I told you, that that was the whole point? To ACTUALLY get comfortable being uncomfortable? What if you became a SUPERHUMAN by learning to sit with the feelings you usually avoid, and not in the healthiest ways. (wink wink, we both know it’s true 😉)
Yes, we all have access to superhuman skills and knowledge, you just haven’t accessed yours yet!
Imagine being completely unbothered by people, situations and circumstances that usually would drive you INSANE.

The quickest and easiest way to learn to sit with your UNDESIRED emotions and feelings is by – wait for it – meditating!!
Yes. I knowww… But just hear me out.
We aren’t afraid of the situations we think we are afraid of.
We are afraid of the way they makes us feel.
Therefore, if we learn to sit with our ‘uncomfortable’ (* you may already know that my view on ‘good’ and ‘bad’ is that they don’t actually exist, nothing is good or bad in itself. It just is. It’s neutral. It’s how we perceive it that makes it good or bad. Someone’s good may be your bad and vice-versa.) feelings, we equip ourselves with one of the most beneficial skills in life.
Literally, we are then capable of being unbothered.
It’s not to say that losing a loved one isn’t going to affect us for example, of course it will but we will have the tools to deal with the emotions. We will be able to sit with the sadness, rejection, pain, loneliness and all of the other emotions that come with losing someone in any way.
But the various ‘relationship attachment styles’ aren’t going to be affecting you anymore. The colleague who is always a little sarky won’t trigger you as much, and if they do – you won’t drop into your usual default defensive mode.
Being unbothered, unmoved and truly strong in the chaos around you is going to make you hotter, richer, more attractive and more successful.
You will handle your obstacles within romantic relationships with much more ease, you will be seen as the one ‘not to be fucked with’ at work, you will be able to respond with much more ease and in a way more informed manner.
